Lavazza BLUE - excellent Italian…
Published:  05 December, 2007

Lavazza OCS/Vending division, headed up by Silvio Zaccareo Sales & Marketing Manager, is continuing to offer a first class coffee experience to meet the needs of different markets (Office Coffee Service and Vending).

Their latest development, Lavazza BLUE, is an innovative closed system that makes it possible to savour whichever type of coffee is desired: real Italian espresso, long coffee or American-style coffee, while maintaining the texture and taste of a perfect, creamy and flavourful Italian espresso anywhere, anytime.

Lavazza, Italy’s favourite coffee, is present in over 80 countries around the world and with over 110 years of experience the company is able to offer its customers a complete range of products of the highest quality. Lavazza epitomises glamour, sophistication and Italian heritage and has been growing its business in the UK for about 15 years.

Silvio Zaccareo, who has significant experience in the Italian vending sector, believes the company’s unique coffee machines, new high-tech Lavazza BLUE™ and established favourite Espresso Point™, tap into consumers’ increasingly discerning coffee tastes, by offering a dedicated service for office environments with exclusive pod systems for preparing the perfect cup of Lavazza espresso or cappuccino. Silvio also adds that with these machines it is also possible to prepare a perfect cup of tea, thanks to the wide range of Lavazza non-coffee capsules.

BLUE™

The range of BLUE™ machines is high-tech yet user-friendly. Characterised by self-protecting capsules with an exclusive extraction process and superior Lavazza coffee blends, an authentic Lavazza coffee is guaranteed every time.

Lavazza BLUE™ range includes the LB1000, a modern, compact and elegant single use manual machine designed by Pininfarina for environments where consumption is relatively low. The LB1000 is also perfect for preparing a creamy cappuccino thanks to its special steamer.

The LB2200 Deluxe is perfect for small to medium sized environments. This versatile and single unit semi-automatic machine has different options that can be pre-set to provide a free or pre-set dose. The electronic functions allow users to monitor consumption and water tank levels and the machine can also be set for the use of water-softening filters.

Finally, the Colibrì Semi Automatic is perfect for self service. With this, an excellent espresso is guaranteed in both table top and free standing units. Providing 140 servings before it needs reloading, it can be connected straight to the water mains or to a water tank and can be set for the use of water-softening filters. The fact that it uses capsules instead of beans gives a consistency of products anytime during the day and in the tabletop segment this consistency is a unique advantage we can offer to our customers.

Zaccareo comments, “The Lavazza BLUE™ system is the latest innovation in the Vending Industry; because of its unique coffee capsule system, every coffee that you drink is superb.”

With almost two billion BLUE™ and Espresso Point™ capsules sold every year, Lavazza has been able to introduce successful systems for new markets. Lavazza understands the importance of adapting to a market that is radically changing and to the fact that consumers are constantly demanding more quality.

Huge demand

Zaccareo summarises: “There is a huge demand for these systems and the positive comments and feedback we have been receiving proves it! Offices and businesses need straightforward and efficient systems that are able to deliver an excellent cup of coffee every time. You can depend on Lavazza for this!”

Lavazza is committed to proving quality coffee to office workers around the country by offering a range of solutions for every environment.
