In addition to sourcing and paying a Fairtrade price for sugar, The Ubuntu Trading Co. will send 33% of their company’s pre-tax profits to the Ubuntu Africa Programme to run development projects for sugar producers and their communities in Africa.
Ubuntu cola was blind tested in Manchester, Birmingham and Bristol and over 75% of respondents in research said they would buy the cola if it was made available to them.
