Ferguson sees off opposition to bag prizes
Published:  01 October, 2007

First timer John Ferguson from Bettavend in Eastleigh, Hampshire, came up trumps at the Eurogran UK Golf Day on the Arden Course on the 19th July, taking almost every prize.
Ferguson walked off with Best Overall Score, 37 points; Longest Drive on the 12th, and member of the winning team, along with Steve Gallagher, John Rowe and Fekade Zewde, who also presented the prizes with Kevin Burns.

Clive Atkinson managed to break the monopoly, picking up the Nearest the Pin on the 8th, where many balls were lost in the water between tee and pin.

Eurogran expressed their appreciation to Nestlé, who provided a “goodie bag” for all the players, and to the course management, who provided a playable course, after recent rain.
