Whilst most are looking forward to their holiday or are currently holidaying somewhere nice, the VI team are looking ahead to the final quarter for 2007. There’s much going on in the industry at the moment and we are planning on keeping you abreast with the shows and new product launches coming up. In this edition we have a preview of Eu’Vend in Cologne later this month, we also touch on Vending in Retail and look at the opportunities for Forecourt Vending with a show dedicated to this area in 2008 - part of IFFE.
Becci’s writing for you about both ‘healthy vending’ and ‘snacks and confectionery’ with suppliers’ information and an interesting bestseller list! Kenco have our cover this month and a full product profile appears on pages 18 & 19.
David Wood has our month’s ‘comment’. l agree totally with him that we in vending become the proverbial butt for jokes on the TV. Don’t worry David these marketing bods obviously live in the dark ages - maybe they should take a subscription to VI to read how advanced our machines are becoming! I received a report the other day regarding hits to our new website and we’re pleased to see by the figures that lots of you are viewing our pages and sourcing past articles and news.
