The new semiautomatic from Lavazza
Published:  01 August, 2007

Lavazza Coffee UK’s Office Coffee System (OCS) vending service has launched a new product into its already impressive and popular portfolio of vending machines. With its manual ‘Espresso Point’ Matinee machine and ‘BLUE’ LB1000 and LB2200 machines serving the small office vending market, Lavazza has launched a new larger table top machine, the semiautomatic Colibri.

Designed primarily for ‘high level’ offices, large offices and for the vending sector, the new Colibri machine uses pods instead of beans and has three instant products and eight possible drink selections.

Silvio Zaccareo, Lavazza’s OCS and Vending Sales and Marketing Manager, believes the new machine will attract many new customers in the office and vending sectors: “This is a great opportunity for large offices and workplaces as the semiautomatic Colibri is perfect for self service. This machine uses pods, which guarantees quality and consistence of coffee for every cup. In addition, the Colibri makes 140 servings before the cups and capsules need reloading and it can be connected straight to the water mains or to a water tank. It can also be set for the use of water-softening filters.”

Lavazza is continuing its search for vending operators which can work with them to deliver a professional, efficient service to discerning officebased companies.
