Castus Fruit Bars gaining in distribution and popularity!!!

The Castus 100% natural Fruit Bars have gained in distribution and popularity since The Health Education Trust (HET) approved the Castus Fruit Bars for the REAL CHOICE initiative raising the standard of school food and drink vending provision and reflecting best practice. “Castus fruit bars are a valuable example of the type of products we are pleased to see being developed for healthy vending”, says Joe Harvey, Director, HET*. The Castus Fruit Bars are a low calorie, low fat, and low salt snack. The fruit bars are a healthy snack and a “real food” due to the high fibre content. Each fruit bar is 25 g and available in 4 different flavours, Apricot, Banana, Fig and Strawberry. The energy content of one bar is equivalent to 1-11/2 piece of fruit. The bars have been approved by the equivalent 5-a-day scheme in Denmark, where the bars are favourites of many families.
