October 2009 once again saw California Raisins exhibiting at ANUGA, the world's largest food show.
Peter Meadows and Iain Forbes dealt with a number of trade enquiries during the 6 day event and conducted some useful discussions with various traders from all 4 corners of the globe.
One of the highlights was the visit of the United States Ambassador to Berlin Mr. Philip D. Murphy to the California Raisins' booth. "Mr. Murphy seemed impressed with the work we had created in Germany and also mentioned that all 4 of his children were enthusiastic consumers of California Raisins," said Marketing Director Peter Meadows. "Naturally we gave Mr. Murphy ample supplies to take home to his children," Meadows added.
