Cadbury adds a touch of magic this Christmas
Published:  05 October, 2009

Creating more moments of pleasure, Cadbury is introducing a host of exciting plans to bring magical moments to Christmas 2009.

The first sprinkle of magic is the launch of Snow Bites - delicious chocolate balls surrounded in a crispy white dusted shell. This is a brand new product for Christmas 2009 and is expected to become a top selling SKU within the novelty category, appealing to all ages and tastes. Snow Bites are available in 100g bags with an RRP of 99p and come in 18 pack outers and clip strip format.

Cadbury is also creating magic in-store with new pack designs for Christmas 2009, across some of its core ranges. The new design will feature a Cadbury Santa and highlights the glass and a half of milk that goes into Cadbury Dairy Milk. Cadbury will also launch a Magical Advent calendar to its successful advent range for 2009. The treats in the calendar get bigger the closer you get to Christmas, starting with a 4g chocolate and ending with a 16g cracker.

The Cadbury range of tubes will also see a re-design which emphasises the age differentiation between different varieties, depending on who the chocolate is designed to appeal to. For example, Cadbury Dairy Milk Buttons will display a train design featuring the new Buttons characters and for Cadbury Dairy Milk, the chunks will be displayed inside a cracker design.

Cadbury is also delighted to be announcing a partnership with Make-A-Wish Foundation® UK. Cadbury has committed to donating £400,000 to the charity over the next three years, which will enable Make-A-Wish to grant even more magical wishes.

www.cadburymakeawish.org will go live at Christmas and will provide an enchanting online experience showcasing the Make-A-Wish and Cadbury partnership, whilst facilitating consumers' involvement in the charity over the Christmas period.
