Calypso Soft Drinks has introduced a variety of new vending products at AVEX to boost its highly successful, award winning ‘school approved' drinks portfolio.
Richard Cooke, Sales & Marketing Director comments: "Despite the current economic climate, sales are rocketing - we are up 14% year on year. We have spent our energy on developing refreshing, healthy drinks for children with a higher juice content and natural ingredients. The trend for healthy, refreshing drinks is set to continue unabated and we experienced an extremely positive reception at AVEX to our expanded vending range."
With its own approved natural mineral water source, Calypso has combined its tradition of innovation to develop a comprehensive range of School Approved products, ideal for the vending sector.
Juicy Water
A new Calypso Aquajuice 67 variant in Lemon and Lime will be launched this summer in 250ml, 330ml and 500ml bottles to add to this flagship brand. Aquajuice 67 (67% pure fruit juice/33% natural mineral water) has become the company's leading brand in just 18 months since launching and features variants in Forest Fruits, Orange, Apple, and Apple & Blackcurrant.
Currently visiting UK schools and cities, the ‘Aquajuice 67 Surf Anywhere' Tour supported by the British Surfing Association has taken surfing off the beach and into cities to introduce children to what is reputed to be the ‘coolest sport in the world'. Thousands of children are being given the opportunity to try out surf sports, often for the first time, as Aquajuice sends coaches from Surfing and Street Surfing to inland towns all over the country.
Fairtrade Pure Juice
The new Calypso Apple Juice now sits alongside the Fairtrade Orange 200ml and Fairtrade Orange Juice 250ml and 500ml bottles.
Natural Mineral Water
Thirst Aid - Calypso's Charity Water -- in conjunction with Save the Children has enjoyed a successful first year, generating £25,000 from donations for every product sold.
