Remodelled Vision merchandiser takes pride of place on Jofemar stand at AVEX 09

Jofemar UK, the British sales arm of leading Spanish vending machine manufacturer, Jofemar SA, will exhibit an improved and updated version of its best-selling merchandiser, the ‘Vision' on Stand D54 at AVEX 2009. Launched three years ago to great critical acclaim, the Vision was one of the first merchandisers on the market to use ‘elevator delivery' technology. There will be a total of five Vision merchandisers on the Company's stand demonstrating the versatility of this advanced machine. Also on show will be the Gourmet hot food vending machine, Iceplus, an ice cream vendor, two Coffeemar hot beverage machines and the Arctic 600 cold drinks merchandiser. Jofemar UK will additionally be showcasing its extensive range of coin mechanisms and cashless payment systems.

NEW VISION WITH ‘ELEVATOR DELIVERY'

The Vision has now been improved with a new look livery and key product advances. The cabinet is finished in a sophisticated light grey colour with an aesthetically pleasing graphic filigree picked out in red on the right hand side of the machine. The livery gives the Vision a smart, thoroughly modern look and feel.

Inside, too, there are some tangible new features. The insulation has been improved which saves on energy and reduces running costs. Instead of using rigid polystyrene filling, the cavity walls of the machine are now injected with foam insulation. This is more effective at maintaining the temperature inside the cabinet. At the same time, the new insulation gives the cabinet a more rigid feel.

The operator panel has been reconfigured, too. Now the refund button is located separately, making it easier to see and more customer-friendly. The elevator arm has been re-engineered to create a more efficient grid of sensors and photodiodes that can now detect slimmer products, which means that the breadth of possible machine contents is considerably extended and the vend is always guaranteed.

PATENTED FEATURES

Jofemar SA has patented the advanced features found on the Vision that makes it stand out from the competition. SmartVend® is the name given to the elevator arm which moves seamlessly into place below the selected product. The product is then moved onto the elevator arm by the EasyFlex® delivery system. The SmartVend elevator arm then gently delivers the vended item to the product delivery tray, which is conveniently situated at waist height. Throughout the whole dispense process, which takes an average of just ten seconds, the product is never dropped or agitated. This makes it very suitable for higher value items, such as music CDs or delicate food products such as sandwiches, yoghurt or fruit.
