Nestlé Professional has launched Nescafé Mokambo Tradición with coffee from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms – an internationally recognised symbol of environmental sustainability.
The news marks a partnership between the Nescafé Plan – the company’s global commitment to improving the quality and sustainability of coffee production – and the Rainforest Alliance, who are working to conserve biodiversity and ensure sustainable livelihoods.
A high percentage of coffee farmers manage small plots, generally having low yields. By working with the Rainforest Alliance, Nestlé Professional is collaborating with farmers to ensure its coffee is responsibly produced as well as being of the highest quality.
