More than just vending!

The Vendies, the vending industry’s prestigious awards programme, has again teamed up with the EDWCA to offer mains-fed and bottled water cooler companies the opportunity to have their hard work and innovation recognised at this year’s awards, to be held at London’s Millennium Gloucester Hotel on Wednesday, June 28 2017.

Water coolers and bottled water have been integrated into all aspects of our public and private lives, as the health and lifestyle benefits of sufficient hydration are recognised. They represent an unmissable revenue opportunity for vending operators and facilities managers from a range of sectors.

Water and vending are intrinsically linked, as the water used in other drinks such as coffee, tea and juices can affect taste, smell and texture – it is an essential factor in the quality of the finished product.

The Vendies recognise this vital union between the vending and water industries and as such this year’s awards will see more water specific categories than ever before, sponsored by the EDWCA (European Drinking Water Cooler Association).

Categories include Best Environmental Initiative, Best Innovation, Field Service Engineer of the Year and Team Manager/Supervisor of the Year and due to high demand, the deadline for entries for the EDWCA categories has been extended to Tuesday, May 16 2017. Companies within the vending industry can also nominate any ‘hero’ water companies that make a significant impact to their business.

The entry and nomination process is quick and easy – simply fill out the entry or nomination form that can be found online at www.thevendies.co.uk.

Attending The Vendies provides a great opportunity for companies to promote their products and services to a highly targeted and engaged audience. Attendants will be able to talk to key players in the vending and water industries and develop stronger business relationships at an unmissable networking event.
