The Paper Cup Recovery and Recycling Group (PCRRG) is pleased to announce the creation of Supporter Membership as a new level of membership and its first two Supporter Members – WRAP and bio-bean – as well as Starbucks Coffee Company as the Group’s first new Member of the year.
The new Supporter Member level extends the reach of the Group to organisations indirectly associated with the paper cup supply chain. It is free to join and designed for organisations which do not specifically influence the production, purchase or recycling of paper cups, but which share in the Group’s vision to enable the diversion of post-consumer used cups back into the supply chain.
Neil Whittall, of Huhtamaki and chair of the PCRRG said, “It’s really pleasing to be progressing from the outset of 2015; we welcome Starbucks as a Member of the Group and look forward to working with WRAP and bio-bean, as our first official Supporter Members.”
