Huhtamaki (UK) Serves The Troops!

Huhtamaki (UK) does it’s best to serve Queen and Country, and is proud to say that it serves the best of British – for as the BBC broke the news that HRH Prince Harry (or Captain Wales as he’s known in the Army) was to leave his tour of Afghanistan, boxes of Huhtamaki’s disposable Chinet® plates and bowls were pictured stacked in the young Royal’s living quarters!

As the Army Apache Pilot sees his five-month deployment to the war zone come to an end, it was a pleasant surprise for the world’s leading packaging and disposables manufacturer to see its products stored in such a situation:

We take great pride in the service that we offer our customers, but it was particularly exciting to see Chinet® in Camp Bastion rather than the safer café and canteen environments were it is most commonly used!  It just goes to show that the product’s renowned quality makes it good enough to serve food to our brave service men and women who are fighting on the front line.
