The recently set up Hellenic Vending Association HeVA has joined the European Vending Association. George Makridimitris, Chairman of the Greek Vending Association, HeVA said: “We appreciate the contributions and accomplishments of EVA in the European Vending Business.
It is important to be part of the EVA to have access to relevant legal and financial information right from the source in Brussels. Together with the EVA, HeVA expects to learn more about the vending industry in other countries, including recent technical innovations with regard to machines, cashless payment, and any other new parameters that will influence the future of vending.”
The set up of the Greek association was organised and supported by the EVA in June 2005. Members of the EVA Executive Committee participated in a kick-off meeting in Athens which brought together more than 60 Greek and multinational companies.
The HeVA already has 27 members and a waiting list of 12 members companies to be approved at the next General Assembly.
