The Aquacoil range of recoil water hoses, available from Mecserflex, offers a hygienic choice for industrial catering operations, with a small bending radius and a tight coil diameter to economise on work and storage space.
Manufactured from polyurethane tubing, with nickel plated brass end fittings, the Acquacoil hoses have a working length of 80 per cent of the total length and are 25 per cent lighter than rubber equivalents, with five times the lifespan. The great elasticity and superior coil memory also makes them an ideal alternative to traditional rubber hoses.
Available in three colours – blue for cold water applications, red for hot water and green for environmental use, the Aquacoil hoses come with the option of a colour-coded push-to-connect quick release coupling. The 3¼4″ BSP end fitting has a short length thread to suit the standard service valves. The hoses come in 3¼8″ or 1¼2″ bore, in either 1200mm or 1800mm lengths. The working temperature is -40°C up to +85° with maximum pressure of 1.5 bar @ 85 and 10 bar @ 20°C. A heavy duty big flow bore valve with a 15mm compression end is also available.
