CMS streamlines UK operations to benefit customers

Crane Merchandising Systems (CMS) has announced that it is to begin the process of integrating its UK businesses at the end of June resulting in the merger of the Automatic Products International (API) operation based in Runcorn into the CMS operation based in Chippenham. This development follows the acquisition of API by Crane Co. last year and the move of API manufacturing to the CMS facility in St Louis in the USA.
The integration is scheduled to be completed by the end of October this year and will streamline operations, making it quicker and easier for customers to deal with any Crane brand in the UK, including Dixie-Narco, and offering customers the benefit of an extended sales and technical support network. It is also the company’s intention to incorporate the entire experienced customer facing people employed by both CMS and API UK today into its future UK structure, thereby maintaining existing relationships.

Until further notice it will be business as usual with all existing contact details, equipment supply and pricing structures remaining in operation. It is the intention of the business to manage the integration process seamlessly in order that customers notice no change to the high level of service that they currently enjoy.
