Bigger, better, smarter, faster

Crane Merchandising Systems (CMS) has introduced the upgrade to the BevMax2 glass front merchandiser. BevMax3 has a variety of performance-improving design enhancements, including a new delivery system which allows products to slide (rather than fall) from the tray into the delivery cup. This is said to improve vend reliability, reduce product agitation and speed-up delivery time – now less than eight seconds from the top shelf!
Another new feature is the ‘fail-safe’ ramp – a design that covers the lower conveyer belt with a slope to direct dropped bottles into a recessed area. The XY arm then creates a ‘sweep’ to clear bottles from the track into the well, leaving vending operation uninterrupted. The ramp feature combined with the raised delivery cup design increases reliability 2.5 times, and the new plastic moulded, tooled coin chutes reduce coin jam issues.
The machine is tailored for convenience – it is quick loading with flush 90-degree door opening when placed adjacent to complementary equipment or a wall. It offers up to 29 per cent more capacity than the competition and brings the products closer than ever before to the consumer – in fact just six inches behind the glass. The large glass door provides excellent product display for prominent brand exposure – with every product facing out, and the delivery port is located at a convenient height for easy access. Incorporating new power saving features, the BevMax3 exceeds Tier 2 Energy Star standards.
Andy Porter, Managing Director, CMS – Europe, comments: “We are always looking for ways to improve customer experience and machine efficiency, so we are thrilled to be offering an upgrade to the BevMax2. There has been a positive response to the field trials we’ve undertaken and we know that our customers will be as pleased with the BevMax3 as we are!”
