AVEX visitor numbers

AVEX, the premier vending event, which was in 2007 joined by the Cooler Show welcomed the cream of the vending and cooler industry who came to Earls Court in numbers ready to learn, commit and buy. AVEX 2007 featuring the Cooler Show ranks as one of the best attended AVEX exhibitions since their inception in the 1960s.
Nick Bingham from The Vending Corporation is delighted to announce: “AVEX was attended by leading vending machine operators and major brand holders from throughout Europe. We celebrated 30 years as the leading distributor of vending machines throughout Europe and received over £500,000 (US$1m) in orders during the show.”

Total attendance over the three days of the exhibition reached 7,455 including repeats (that is those who found so much to see that they visited on more than one day.)

ABC Audit: The attendance numbers have been audited by the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC) who confirm the figures as follows:

Total attendance: 7,455 Including: Registered attendance: 3,652, Other attendance: 1,481, Repeats: 2,322

Visitor quality was, as ever, high with some two thirds at manager level or above of which more than half were CEOs, MDs or owners.

UK visitors travelled from all round the country to make sure that they didn’t miss all that was on offer at Earls Court during the three London spring days that the exhibition was running.

Overseas visitors: In addition to the strong representation from the EU and other parts of Europe there were also visitors from further afield including USA, Hong Kong, UAE, Australia and India. In total overseas visitors made up 20% of the attendance.
