The Automatic Vending Association attended a reception this week at Number 11 Downing Street, the official residence of the Chancellor of the Exchequer.

The event was held to bring together representatives of the industries who were involved in the new pound coin project.
CEO, Jonathan Hart and Steve Collins represented the AVA at the event.
Jonathan commented: “It was great to have the Treasury recognise the contribution the vending industry made to ensure that the introduction of the new pound coin went smoothly.
“Through our interactions from the very beginning of the project and our involvement in literally shaping the new pound coin, the Automatic Vending Association and the wider vending industry have played a pivotal role in the transition from the old to the new.”
