As a result of continued business success, Abbeychart, distributor of parts and consumables to the vending, water-cooling and beverage sectors, has expanded to incorporate an additional 5,500ft_ purpose-built premises. Located just 200 metres from its existing residence at Stanford in the Vale, Oxfordshire, Abbeychart’s managing director, Peter Best, cut the ribbon on the new building on May 1.
This additional unit now provides the company with a total of 16,000ft2 of warehouse accommodation, to house its increased product range, and office space to support its continued growth.
“This new property will facilitate our growing business. It is fantastic that a site in the same business park was available,” said Peter Best.
Abbeychart has even more to celebrate as the opening of the new premises coincided with the company winning the Best Use of New Technology Award at AVEX 2007 for its LED energy efficiency lighting.
Established in 1991, Abbeychart has experienced considerable growth and success in recent years. It supplies parts, spares and consumable items from water valves to filters across a spectrum of industries.
